WASHINGTON — A missing 82-year-old man was found by DC Police Friday after a Silver Alert was issued Thursday.
He had last been seen in the 1300 block of Upshur Street, Northwest on Thursday at 5:45 p.m. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants with a blue stripe, blue tennis shoes, and carrying a 5lb dumbbell in each hand. Investigators say he may be in need of medication.
Police said the man was located safely as of Friday afternoon.
This case is being investigated by MPD's Youth and Family Services Division.
