BLOXOM, Va. — A 17-year-old who went missing out of Bloxom, Virginia has been found safe.
Bloxom Police Chief Brian Tittermary says that she was found safe by police in Charlotte, North Carolina around 2 a.m. Thursday. Several law enforcement agencies assisted in the search.
She was found with a woman named Yantza Argular. Chief Tittermary said there was an ongoing investigation into the incident, and charges may be pending.
Yuli Sanun Godines was reported missing on behalf of the Bloxom Town Police Department, who said the child abduction happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning.
She had last been seen at her cousin's house on Shoremain Drive.
Police had said they believed her to have been abducted by Agular in a white 2018 Jeep Renegade heading to North Carolina
