25-year-old Jamell LeeHeung II's car was found submerged but he was not with the vehicle.

CHARLES COUNTY, Md. — Deputies are searching for a 25-year-old man who was reported missing to the U.S. Navy Police at the Indian Head Base where he lived.

According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Jamell LeeHeung II has been missing since Saturday, November 25.

On Monday,  investigators from the Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) contacted the Charles County Sheriff’s Office for help searching Mattawoman Creek near Slavin’s Dock in Indian Head. Officials said LeeHeung's car may have been spotted in that area.

LeeHeung is described as being 6-foot-2 and weighing around 162 pounds.

On Thursday, the sheriff's office was searching the area around the boat ramp using a boat and a drone.

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has assumed the investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Bringley at 301-609-6499.
