PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — The family of a young child found walking alone in Prince George's County close to the D.C. border Sunday morning has been located.
According to the information posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, by the Prince George's County Police Department, the lost child was found walking alone in the 600 block of Southern Avenue near East Meadows Court.
The lost child was found by a person who called police for help. Officers then began searching for the child's family in order to reunite them.
It is unclear how old the child is or why they were walking alone.
Shortly after sharing a picture of the lost child on X, their family was located.
"The child was safely returned to his family safely. Thanks for sharing," Prince George's County Police said.

Loved ones are concerned about 25-year-old Chyna Crawford. She's been missing since Monday, October 23rd. Crawford was last seen along 'Good Hope Road' in Southeast.
