Missing 11-year-old found, DC Police say

WASHINGTON — UPDATE: The 11-year-old boy has been found, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Police are asking for the public's help finding an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing on Thanksgiving day. 

According to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, by the Metropolitan Police Department, the young boy was last seen in the 2700 block of 31st Place in Northeast D.C. around 1:30 p.m. 

Police have listed the boy as a critically missing person. 

Anyone who has seen him, or knows where he may be, is asked to contact detectives at (202) 727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411. Tips may also be placed through the Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 576-6768.
