WASHINGTON — DC Police are investigating a crash that left two men dead on Sunday.
Just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, officers responded to the crash near 35th Street and Bladensburg Road in Northeast D.C., right by the Popeyes and Exxon gas station. Investigators say the crash involved at least two cars.
Detectives have yet too identify the men who died or say what led up to the crash.
DC Police reported the following road closures immediately after the crash:
- 3000 Block of Bladensburg Road NE
- 3100 Block of 35th Street
All roadways have since reopened for travel.
The investigation into this crash is active and ongoing.
