HYATTSVILLE, Md. — A shooting in Prince George's County sent a teenage boy to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:05 p.m. officers with the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 3200 block of 55th Avenue in Hyattsville for a reported shooting. At the scene, officers found a boy who had been shot. He was found conscious and breathing when taken to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition remains unknown.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting or identified anyone involved.
The investigation into this shooting is active and ongoing.
The age and identity of the boy injured remains unknown.
