LAUREL, Md. — Three suspects under the age of 18 are facing attempted murder charges for a shooting near Laurel High School last week.
According to the Laurel Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and Community Action Team, the shooting happened just before 2:45 p.m. in the 14900 block of Belle Ami Drive.
Witnesses told officers that two groups of juveniles began shooting at each other. No injuries were reported.
More than a week later, police announced the arrest of three juveniles for the shooting. The juveniles are being charged as adults with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and various firearms-related crimes.
Police haven't released the identities of the suspects.
