WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after two teenagers were shot in Northeast D.C. Tuesday night. Both are being treated at an area hospital.
At 8:50 p.m., a call came into the Metropolitan Police Department regarding a shooting in the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast. Both teens were found conscious and breathing at the scene of the shooting. Investigators say the teens were taken to an area hospital for treatment after the shooting. The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting nor identified any suspects or persons of interest in this shooting.
