TRIANGLE, Va. — Police need your help to find a man wanted for murder in Prince William County, Virginia. Investigators are offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who may know where 27-year-old Tyus James Terrell is.
Terrell is wanted for murder and gun charges related to the shooting death of 26-year-old Quatrail Raynard Smalls that happened in mid November.
Detectives investigating the shooting that happened in the 3700 block of Wharf Lane have executed several search warrants in connection to the shooting investigation, but have not been able to locate Terrell.
Prince William County officers responded to the scene in Triangle on Nov. 14 for a report of a shooting. Smalls was found shot and laying on the ground. Responding officers tried to save Smalls' life, but he died at the hospital from his wounds.
Officers found several shell casings in the area, and a nearby apartment at the Linden Park Apartments had been struck by gunfire. Investigators later determined Smalls and Terrell knew each other and the incident was not random.
Terrell, from Fredericksburg, is described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He also has a tattoo on his chest.
