BETHESDA, Md. — Two workers were rescued after getting stuck several stories up while washing windows outside a building in Bethesda on Tuesday.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, two window washers were working when they got stuck on scaffolding after a mechanical issue with a cable. The two workers were not injured and were found dangling four stories up when emergency personnel arrived at the Marriott Headquarters located at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue.
The two workers were removed safely by an aerial fire truck. Power to a nearby pole was taken down by Pepco during the removal as a precaution.
Officials say no one was injured as a result of the mechanical issue that left the workers temporarily stuck.
