FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — Prince George’s County Police and the Maryland National Park Police are investigating another shooting involving a teenager.
Calls came in just before 9 p.m. of a shooting in the 1200 block of Fillmore Road, near the Fort Washington Forest Community Center. When officers arrived on scene, they found a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital.
First responders have confirmed the teen was shot in the upper body and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Now, Maryland National Capital Park Police are investigating the events that led up to the shooting. At this time they have not released any information on any possible suspect or persons of interest.
