Man shot multiple times, injured in Prince George's County

The victim was shot in the arms and chest.

GLENARDEN, Md. — Police are investigating after a shooting in Glenarden, Maryland left a man suffering from injuries Monday evening.

Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to West Glenreed Court, off of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway, around 7:20 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the arms and the chest.

The police department says the man is in stable condition and is expected to recover from the shooting. The victim's identity has not been released, this includes his name, age, and where he is from.

There is no information about any possible motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
