WASHINGTON — Police have released surveillance video from inside a stolen car that shows the people accused of stealing it in hopes of identifying them. Investigators say the car was stolen Saturday, September 16 in Northwest D.C.
At 10:13 p.m., detectives say a carjacking occurred in the 6300 block of Chillum Place, Northwest. The suspects were subsequently captured by a surveillance camera mounted inside the stolen car. That recording has been posted to the police department's YouTube channel in hopes of identifying the suspects involved.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone who can identify these individuals or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line to 50411.
