Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Temple Hills

The man was pronounced dead at the scene in Temple Hills, according to police.

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — A man was struck by a car and killed just before midnight on Saturday in Prince George's County, police say. 

Officers responded to the 4500 block of Saint Barnabas Road at 11:55 p.m. in Temple Hills. The person driving the car suspected of hitting the victim did not stay on scene, Prince George's County Police posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police are currently investigating the cause of the collision. There are no suspects at this time, police say.
