DC police ask community's help identifying suspects in armed carjacking

The victim told police he was sitting in his car along the 2200 block of 13th Street, Northwest, when he was approached by two guys.

WASHINGTON — D.C. police is asking for the community’s assistance identifying the suspected carjackers in the photos below. 

On Sunday, December 31, 2023 around 12:45 p.m., the victim told police he was sitting in his car along the 2200 block of 13th Street, Northwest, when he was approached by two guys. 

The suspected carjackers brandished a gun and ordered the victim to get out of his car. Once he got out, the two hopped into the victim’s car and drove off. 

The suspects were caught by a surveillance camera nearby

If you recognize these two, you are asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text the tip at 50411. D.C. police is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
