WASHINGTON — A 62-year-old man is under arrest in connection with two armed robberies that occurred in Northwest D.C. in November.
Police say Darryl Love, of Northwest D.C., was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery for his alleged involvement.
On November 10, at 7:28 p.m., investigators say the suspect, later identified as Love, approached the first victim in the 5200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. He pulled out his gun and demanded the victim's property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene with the stolen items.
Just 13 days later, on November 23, police say the same man approached a victim in the 5400 block of Georgia Avenue at 11:43 p.m. He once again pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's property. In this case, the victim did not comply. Officers were able to apprehend the man at this point, where he was identified as Darryl Love and arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery.
