The driver of a Honda sedan died at the scene, according to investigators.

OXON HILL, Md. — A woman is dead after a crash involving a tractor trailer early Thursday morning on Interstate 95. The crash shut down express lanes for several hours overnight and into the morning commute.

Virginia State Police troopers were called to the southbound lanes of I-95 for a report of a crash just after midnight. A tractor trailer and a Honda sedan had collided near Eisenhower Avenue.
