Eastbound lanes along Lee Highway remain closed following crash

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — In a recent incident at the intersection of Lee Highway and Graham Road, officers are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle crash. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, but the aftermath has caused significant traffic disruptions in the area.

The collision resulted in one of the vehicles striking an electrical pole, prompting the presence of Virginia power crews who are diligently working to address the situation. Details on what caused the crash have not been released. 

As a precautionary measure, all eastbound lanes on Lee Hwy have been temporarily closed. The closure is expected to cause delays for commuters, authorities are advising drivers to seek alternative routes.

Tuesday morning, lanes were still closed because of the crash. 

In the meantime, drivers are encouraged to be patient, exercise caution in the vicinity of the crash site, and follow the guidance of law enforcement.
