WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police are searching for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a teenage boy inside a grocery store bathroom.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the assault happened inside a bathroom at the Food Lion on Dillingham Square in Woodbridge.
Police were called to the grocery store shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 for reports of an assault.
When investigators arrived, they learned a 15-year-old boy was inside a restroom when a stranger approached him and then inappropriately touched the boy without provocation. The man then made a hand gesture before leaving the restroom.
The teen told a family member what happened and they called the police. No injuries were reported.
Police say the suspect was last seen leaving in a newer model Toyota Camry. He is described as a man with short black hair, brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
