WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A 15-year-old boy is facing charges after police say he took a picture of a classmate inside a school bathroom and later posted it online without the classmate's knowledge or permission.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the picture was taken at Hylton High School on Spriggs Road in Woodbridge.
Investigators say the student, only identified as a 15-year-old boy, took an "inappropriate photo" of another boy while in a school bathroom around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 20. The teen then reportedly posted the photo on social media, where the victim saw the post and notified a teacher.
There is no word on what the photo included or what app it was posted to at this time.
The teen was arrested and charged with unlawful filming. He has been held at the juvenile detention center.
