PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are searching for the shooter(s) who killed a woman.
Officers arrived in the 4800 block of Marlboro Pike around 11 p.m. after receiving calls of shots fired. When they arrived they found a woman in the parking lot of a convenience store suffering from a gunshot wound fighting to stay alive.
First responders immediately began performing life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived on scene. An ambulance transported the woman to a nearby hospital. Despite tireless efforts from medical staff, the woman succumbed to her injuries. She was pronounced dead a few hours after arriving at the hospital. Police later identified the woman killed as 45-year-old Aiesha Nickens of Washington, D.C.
Now, police are reviewing surveillance video from the area to determine what happened in the moments leading up to the shooting. At this time, law enforcement has not released any information on a suspect.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
