PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Thursday in connection to shooting at two homes in Woodbridge.

On Monday evening, officers were called to investigate shots fired at a residence on Kentmore Drive. The home was struck by gunfire and a black four-door sedan was seen fleeing the area, according to a press release. Officers also located shell casings on the road near the home. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

Earlier that day, officers were called to investigate a destruction of property at another home in Woodbridge on Kentland Drive. It was later found that the resident's car in the driveway was struck by gunfire. No injuries or other damage were reported.

During the arrest, the boy was found in possession of a firearm that was previously reported stolen.

The teen was charged with two counts of principal in the second degree of shooting into a residential and once count of underage possession of a firearm. He's currently being held at a juvenile detention center, and the court date is pending.

This is an ongoing investigation, and detectives are continuing to look for other parties involved.
