Multiple shootings reported in Prince George's County Thursday evening

Two of the people shot are in critical condition. Police have not connected any of the shootings.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating after three people were wounded in three separate shootings that all happened in Prince George's County in less than three hours on Thursday. 

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the first shooting happened near Iverson Mall in Temple Hills. Officers were called to the 3700 block of Branch Avenue for reports of a shooting shortly before 3:45 p.m. 

When first responders arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to an area hospital and is said to be in stable condition. 

There is no word on any suspect information at this time. Police continue to search for a motive behind the shooting. 

About 90 minutes later, a second shooting was reported just blocks away in the 3100 block of Branch Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man had been shot. 

The man was taken to an area trauma center in critical condition. There is no word on his current condition at this time. 

No suspect information has been released and police have not said anything about a possible motive. 

Around 40 minutes later, a third shooting was reported less than five miles away in the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road. A man was critically wounded in the shooting and taken to an area trauma center for help. 

No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.

Police have not connected any of the shootings.
