BETHESDA, Md. — New surveillance photos from a reported robbery at a Bethesda smoke shop were released Tuesday by the Major Crimes Division of the Montgomery County Department of Police.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people whom they allege stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Tobacco King at 7022 Wisconsin Avenue Sunday at approximately 7:58 p.m. Police claim one suspect held the door open while the other approached the counter and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the store, according to police.
Police urge anyone with information about the men pictured below, or the robbery, to contact the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, MD at www.crimesolversmcmd.org or at 1-866-411-8477. Tips may remain anonymous and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward from $250 up to $10,000 according to police.
