Man found shot to death inside Springdale home

Preliminarily, detectives don’t believe the shooting is random.

SPRINGDALE, Maryland — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a Springdale home on Wednesday.

At 12:30 p.m., officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Berrywood Lane for a reported shooting. At the scene, offices found a man inside a home who had been shot. He was pronounced dead and his identity remains unknown.

Investigators have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in connection to this shooting. There is no word on what led up to it or any contributing factors. Preliminarily, detectives don’t believe the shooting is random.

The investigation into the deadly shooting is active and ongoing.
