Man shot outside restaurant in Prince George's County, police investigating

Officers arrived at the ‘Legends Chicken and Grill’ on Annapolis Road just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are investigating a shooting outside a restaurant that left a man wounded. 

Officers were called to the ‘Legends Chicken and Grill’ on Annapolis Road just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night for reports of gunshots heard in the area. 

When officers arrived, they found one man was wounded in the shooting, but they have not given an update on his condition. 

There is no word on a suspect or any possible motive at this time. It is unclear what happened in the moments leading up to the shooting. 

This is an active investigation and we have crews on the scene gathering more information.
