FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. — The Frederick County Sheriff's Office are investigating a death in New Market, Maryland.
On Sunday, deputies with the county were called out to a residence along Mandalong Court, just before 7 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When officials arrived they located two adults, deceased inside of the home.
Deputies also located four children inside of the home who were reported to be unharmed. In a statement, police said the cause of death has not been determined, but they are actively investigating the case.
Despite the call coming in as a shooting, police have not confirmed if that is what occurred at the home. The ages of the children and their relation to the adults found dead hasn't been released at this time.
Very little details have been released about the investigation at this time.
