ATV crash leaves man dead, woman hurt in Prince George's County

Police are still working to determine the cause of the crash.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. — A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after a collision between a pickup truck and an ATV late Monday in Capitol Heights. Prince George's County Police are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.

According to investigators, the crash happened around 10 p.m. Monday in the 7500 block of Walker Mill Road. Police say the driver of the ATV, 29-year-old Ronald Hayes Jr., died in the crash. The passenger on the ATV, a woman, was hospitalized with critical injuries. 

Police say the driver of the pick-up truck was not hurt. That driver stayed on the scene of the crash. Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
