Maryland State Police search for car wanted in connection to a shooting

Investigators say the car was last seen exiting westbound Route 50 at Route 202 in Hyattsville, Maryland.

LANHAM, Md. — Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help finding the person responsible for shooting into a victim's car on Interstate 495 in Lanham on Friday. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

At 11 p.m. on Oct. 27, troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack responded to the area of I-495, near Route 450 in Lanham for the report of a shooting. Initial investigation reveals the driver pulled out a gun and shot at the victim's car. There were no injuries reported as a result of the shooting.

Investigators describe the suspect as a man in his late 20s or early 30s. He is said to be driving a newer model black Audi A6 or A8 with possible Maryland or D.C. registration. The car was last seen exiting westbound Route 50 at Route 202 in Hyattsville, Maryland.
