WASHINGTON — A man is in the hospital recovering from critical injuries after a crash on Wednesday in Northeast, D.C.
According to DC Fire and EMS, the crash occurred in the 4300 block of Burroughs Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The car was found at a 90-degree angle over Watts Branch Creek with one person trapped inside.
Investigators say the car went through a fence, into the woods, and stopped to dangle over the creek.
Rescue Squad members secured the car and were able to extricate the victim inside before taking him to an area hospital for help.
There is no word on what may have caused the crash at this time.
