2 dead in Loudoun County parking lot

Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives.

STERLING, Va. — Two people have died after being shot in a Sterling, Virginia parking lot early Wednesday morning.

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 21000 block of Ridgetop Circle in the area of Huntington Square. Deputies responded to the area for a report of an argument. The shooting happened before 5 a.m. and appears to have been in a parking lot in the area. Once deputies arrived on scene, they found a man and woman shot. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. They were pronounced dead a short time later.

The woman has been identified as 22-year-old Mijal Conejero-Romera, of Sterling, and the man has been identified as 22-year-old Diego Alexander Woollett, from Arlington.

Police have also not said who shot them or if they are looking for a suspect. Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting is urged to contact Detective Grimsley at 703-777-1021.
