Police: Teen found shot outside Chase bank in NE DC

The boy was conscious and breathing when taken to an area hospital.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after finding a teen shot outside a Chase bank in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday. 

At 6:16 p.m., a call came into the Metropolitan Police Department regarding a shooting in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, outside a Chase bank. The boy was found conscious and breathing at the scene by investigators. He is being taken to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition remains unknown.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting. Police have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in connection with the shooting.

The exact age of the teenager is currently unknown.

The investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing.
