WASHINGTON — Police are searching for two people who were caught on surveillance camera stealing from a truck in Southeast, D.C.
On Friday, May 31, just after 10:30 a.m., the victims were unloading a truck full of goods on Southern Avenue in Southeast, D.C. Two people approached them and took property from the truck before running away, police said. Investigators did not say what was exactly was taken from the truck.
Both suspects and their car were captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
Anyone who can identify these suspects and/or this car should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
