WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is searching for a man accused of stealing a moped in Northwest D.C.
On May 25, the victim told police he was waiting for an Uber Eats order along New Jersey Avenue, NW when the robber approached him. The robber reportedly hit the victim causing him to drop his things.
Police say the suspect then picked up the items and rode off on the victim’s moped. A nearby surveillance camera caught the suspect at a gas station.
If you know anything about the robber or the crime, call police at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
