WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating a suspect connected to a shooting in Navy Yard.
On Wednesday just before 2:30 a.m., investigators say the victims were inside a home on First Street in Southwest, D.C. when the suspect walked in. He had a gun and shot the victims before leaving the home. All victims were taken to an area hospital for help after the shooting. There is no word on how many people were shot. All are expected to survive.
The suspect was captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photo below:
Anyone who can identify this suspect or has any information about this shooting should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
