ROCKVILLE, Md. — Rockville Police have released a photo of the man accused of a shooting that left a another man in critical condition.
Warren Simpson is wanted by police for a shooting along the 400 block of College Parkway just before 4:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. First responders arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.
Police searched area after learning that the alleged shooter Simpson ran through the local neighborhood onto the nearby college campus. Officials with Montgomery College placed the campus on a temporary lockdown as police searched for Simpson.
Once their search was unsuccessful the lockdown was lifted. Now police are asking for community's assistance locating Simpson.
As for the victim, he has been downgraded to stable condition and remains hospitalized as of Sunday morning.
