Real Time Crime Center releases photos of person of interest in shooting along Benning Road, NE

The shooting took place in the 1500 block of Benning Road, just after 12:30 p.m. Investigators from the Real Time Crime Center pulled photos of a person of interest.

WASHINGTON — D.C. police have released photos of a potential suspect from a shooting that occurred Thursday in Northeast. 

The shooting took place in the 1500 block of Benning Road, just after 12:30 p.m. Investigators from the Real Time Crime Center pulled photos of a person of interest in the shooting. The man was wearing a black ski mask, black t-shirt, and light colored shorts with long dreadlocks. 

The victim of the shooting was taken to the hospital conscious and breathing, and it is unknown what their current condition is. Information regarding the victim has not been released at this time.
