Police search for person connected to shooting in Northwest

A surveillance camera captured images of the person of interest police are trying to find.

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help locating a person connected to a shooting in Northwest that left one man injured.

According to a press release from D.C. Police, the shooting happened in the 2500 block of Mozart Place on October 23. 

When officers arrived around midnight, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a nearby hospital for help with serious injuries. 

A surveillance camera captured images of the person of interest police are trying to find.
