Police investigate deadly shooting in Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday night.

According to a tweet from Prince George's County Police, the shooting happened just after 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Atlee Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for help but later died from his injuries. 

Police have not identified the man who died.

Officers do not believe the shooting was random and are working to find a suspect. So far, no suspect information has been released.
