Have you seen him? Police search for man accused of killing man along Benning Road, N.E.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Darryl Williams.

WASHINGTON — D.C. Police is asking for the community’s help identifying a man accused of killing someone earlier this month. 

On Friday, June 7, officers responded to the 1700 block of Benning Road, N.E. just before 11:45 p.m. for reports of gunshots. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot multiple times.  

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Darryl Williams. 

Police say surveillance cameras captured a person of interest nearby. If you recognize the man in the photo, call police at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
