WASHINGTON — Police have arrested one teen and are searching for three others in connection to two robberies in Southeast D.C.

On March 26, at 6:50 p.m., investigators say the suspects approached a victim in the 800 block of I Street, SE, and demanded the victim's property. One of the suspects assaulted the victim, took their purse, and left.

At 10:30 p.m. on the same day, the suspects once again approached a victim in the 1100 block of 2nd Place, Southeast. The suspects demanded the victim's property and attempted to take the victim's purse. Police say one of the suspects snatched the keys from the purse and then the suspects ran away.

On Monday, April 22, detectives located and arrested a 14-year-old boy, from Southeast, D.C., in connection to the robbery.

Police are still searching for three additional robbery suspects.

Anyone who can identify these suspects or who has knowledge of these robberies should take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line at 50411.
