SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County Police are searching for a man wanted for sexually assaulting a teenager aboard a Ride On bus in Silver Spring. Detectives are concerned there may be more victims that have not contacted police.
On Wednesday, May 22, just before 8 p.m., officers responded to investigate the sexual assault that occurred inside the bus on Veirs Mill Road at the Wheaton Metro bus turnaround.
A teenager told officers that a man exposed himself and touched them. He was wearing a red Washington Nationals cap, grey shorts, and a Winnie the Pooh T-shirt at the time.
Investigators say the man was last seen getting off the bus at Connecticut Avenue and University Boulevard West in Kensington.
Police have released photos of the man in hopes of having the public's help identifying and locating him.
