Teenagers robbed tobacco store and assaulted employee, police say

Montgomery County Police responded to the Tobacco Mart & More and charged two suspects.

BETHESDA, Md. — A tobacco store in Bethesda was robbed and an employee was assaulted Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. 

Police claim five teenagers entered Tobacco & More Mart on Old Georgetown Road, stole merchandise and left. Two suspects then allegedly returned to the store and one assaulted an employee. 

Montgomery County Police said two teenager were located and arrested. One was charged with theft and the other was charged with theft and second-degree assault. 

The identities of the suspects have not been released, and other suspects have not been located, according to Montgomery County Police.
