WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting in Northeast, D.C.
On Sunday, just before 8:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on 50th Street in Northeast. Once there, officers found a man lying unconscious in the alley. The man appeared to have been shot. He was pronounced dead in the alley and later identified as 44-year-old James Price.
The suspect in the shooting was captured by nearby surveillance cameras. He can be seen in the video and photos below.
Investigators have not said if the suspect and victim were known to each other. There is no word on what led up to the shooting or the motive behind it.
Anyone who has knowledge of this shooting should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
