Shooting in NE DC leaves man dead, police say

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Ronalds Crews of Northeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON — An investigation is underway in Northeast, D.C. after a 19-year-old man was shot and killed on Tuesday.

At 8:58 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 4300 block of Hunt Place in Northeast for a report of an unconscious person.

At the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead. Investigators have since identified him as 19-year-old Ronalds Crews of Northeast, D.C.

The investigation into this deadly shooting is active and ongoing.

Police have not yet identified any suspects or persons of interest in connection to the shooting.
