Police arrest woman accused of attacking pregnant woman

Keirina Boykin was arrested on February 22. She has also been identified as a suspect in an armed robbery in the county.

HYATTSVILLE, Md. — The woman accused of attacking a pregnant woman outside of a building is in custody. 

Keirina Boykin was arrested on February 22 and charged with first and second degree assault and reckless endangerment. 

The assault took place on January 28, in the 6400 block of America Boulevard in Hyattsville, at 7:40 p.m. The whole thing was captured by surveillance cameras outside of the building where the attack took place.

Police say the victim reported being punched and kicked in the stomach. EMS arrived and treated the victim at the scene, but her current condition is unknown at this time. 

After releasing the video, officers received an anonymous tip identifying Boykin.  She has also been identified as a suspect in an armed robbery in the county.
