Do you recognize this man? Police believe he fatally stabbed someone

Police responded to Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road, Northeast, for reports of a stabbing. When they arrived they found 53-year-old Christopher King.

WASHINGTON — Detectives are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect involved in a fatal stabbing in Northeast, D.C. 

On Saturday, February 24 at 3:19 p.m., officers responded to Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road, Northeast, for reports of a stabbing. When they arrived they found 53-year-old Christopher King suffering from a stab wound. 

First responders transported King to an area hospital and medical staff attempted life-saving efforts, but it was too late. King died at the hospital. 

The man police believe to be responsible for his death was captured by nearby surveillance cameras. 

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information can call 202-727-9099. Those who wish to remain anonymous can text the tip line at 50411.
