Police searching for 3 people who stole alcohol from delivery truck in DC

The delivery driver was away from the vehicle when the cases were stolen.

WASHINGTON — Alcohol was stolen from a delivery truck in D.C. in early January, and now police are asking for the public's help identifying the people responsible.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, around 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 4, a delivery driver went inside of a business to prepare to unload items on Minnesota Avenue Northeast, nearby E Capitol Street Southeast. While the driver was away from the truck, three people took cases of alcohol from the back of the delivery truck.

Now, police have released photos of the suspects in the case to help with identifying the people connected to the crime.
