"We heard the bangs from our window," Jocelyn Martinez, who works on the third floor of the building, told WUSA9. "We're a little shook because it happened below us. It's scary because I have my kids at home and to think that I could just leave and not come home."
"I was behind the Dunkin' when I heard three shots fired," David Michaelangelo told WUSA9. "I'm dumbfounded. I didn't think they were gunshots at all. This is a very nice shopping center and I would never thinking gunshots being fired."
